Position
Sageworks is hiring a project manager to help us in our software development efforts. The position entails managing software development projects and hitting milestones and deadlines.
General Responsibilities
• Working with software developers in setting and hitting project goals and deadlines.
• Performing a broad array of quality control functions, including things as basic as proof-reading to things as complex as implementing effective QA systems.
• Meeting with customers, including; taking support calls, running focus groups, and identifying ways to improve our technologies.
• Managing product releases. We operate as an ASP, so we have monthly product releases.
• Maintaining and managing "bug" lists and insuring that technical problems get fixed.


Qualifications
We are seeking an assertive person who can drive projects to completion within aggressive deadlines. The individual must be able to excel and work within an intense environment. 3-5 years of project management experience is necessary. There is not a specific major for the undergraduate degree required, however, the minimum GPA requirement for this position is 3.8 (no exceptions please).
