Job: Senior Accountant

Static Control Components, Inc. is offering a career opportunity for a Senior Accountant.
Basic requirements include experience with all fundamental cost accounting activities in a manufacturing environment such as: the setting of standards, the valuation of inventories and cost of sales, the reconciliation of physical inventory results and post closing variance reporting and analysis experience. Multicurrency, international transactions and treasury services is a plus.

The Senior Accountant will assist with the month end close, reconcile general ledger accounts and work with inventory analysis and other related special projects. Other duties will include sales analysis, standard cost accounting and ad hoc reporting. Cost knowledge is needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting or Finance 
• Must be experienced in the use of computers, software packages, Excel and Word
• Deadline oriented
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish financial operations objectives
• Adherence to policies, procedures and instructions of Corporate Financial group
• Highly detail oriented and organized team player
• Cost knowledge is needed. International experience is a plus
