Job Description

We are looking for a new member for our public relations team who will make our stories stand out in today’s cluttered social and traditional media environment. The position will report to Fuqua’s public relations director and be part of a dynamic team that includes a dedicated social media manager. This is a position for a storyteller and an amplifier. The right candidate will not only tell the story, but develop the best strategy for amplification through media relations, social media and digital channels. The candidate will also help faculty members build their personal brands as appropriate to ensure additional amplification.

  • Work with faculty to identify and promote research of interest, including promotion of the quarterly Duke Global Business Outlook Survey and the biannual CMO Survey.

  • Amplify faculty work and expertise through traditional media, social and digital tactics

  • Help faculty build personal brands as appropriate

  • Serve as one of the primary Fuqua media contacts and proactively develop relationships to help promote faculty research.
