General Description
Manage and coordinate patient care and personnel needs.  Plan, develop, implement and evaluate ambulatory health care services, programs and activities.

Job Duties
1. Manage clinical services delivered within both practice locations.
2. Manage personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance reviews, time off schedules, and maintaining payroll records and time reports.
3. Collaborate in the development and implementation of learning opportunities and skill development for all staff. Analyze, develop and maintain an effective and efficient nursing care delivery system that reflects patient and family needs across the continuum; achieving desired outcomes.
4. Identify clinical operational needs; manage appropriate level of equipment and supplies and monitors equipment maintenance.
5. Collaborate with Health Center Administrator in determining the fiscal requirements of the practice; submit budgetary recommendations, including necessary nursing personnel and patient care materials necessary for the provision of care.
6. Develop and implement written policies and clinic specific nursing protocols to improve patient care and utilization of clinic resources.
7. Ensure both practice locations are compliant with JCAHO, infection control, environment of care, and safety standards.
8. Plan and schedule work assignments for clinical staff to ensure adequate coverage for providers, as well as other assignments such as re-stocking exam rooms, instrument cleaning and sterilization, and supply ordering.
9. Ensure staff are compliant with all required training and licensure.
10. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Education Requirements/Preferences
BSN

Experience Requirements/Preferences
3 years of nursing experience

Licensure/Certification Requirements
Current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina required. BLS required.

Working Conditions
Must be able to work under time pressures in a busy clinic/office environment.
Must be present on site for 8 hour shifts during standard business hours.
Must participate in group activities requiring interpersonal skills & cooperation.
Must work as late person when scheduled or according to business needs
Must be able to react quickly and immediately respond to emergencies.
Must travel between locations on needed basis.
Must be able to handle multiple assignments, conflicting demands & priorities.
Must maintain attention to detail over extended period of time.
Must be continually aware of variations in changing situations.
Must be able to move throughout office environment throughout day.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
Must be able to push/pull 25 lbs.

Education
