Web Application Developer - MyIBM

Your Role and Responsibilities
The MyIBM Products & Billing squad is helping change how IBM does business. MyIBM is where customers manage their relationship with IBM.  We are building out a user experience where customers can access and manage their products & services, invite new users, upgrade, access their billing history, etc. We provide self-service commerce flows to individuals, small/medium businesses, and large business alike.

The MyIBM Products and Billing team is looking for web developers in RTP, NC. Qualified candidates will have significant experience in modern web technologies such as Vue.js, Angular, Node.js, MongoDB, and building and deploying REST APIs. We perform continuous delivery and continuous integration with a strong emphasis on automated testing, automated deployments, full code coverage, monitoring, and other modern DevOps processes using tools such as Git, Jenkins, Travis, Slack, etc. The ideal candidate will have mastery of many of these concepts and be able to provide leadership across multiple areas. 
You will help the team focus on high performance, scalability, high availability, analytics, and building out a great automated testing pipeline, with collaboration across teams and business units.
You will be challenged to develop large-scale, globalized systems leveraging a wide variety of open source and commercial technologies. Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Understanding of agile concepts
  • An understanding of DevOps practices
  • Experience with front end web development technologies (CSS, HTML, JavaScript)
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs

  • At least 1 year of experience in Vue.js
  • At least 1 year of experience with Node.js
  • At least 1 year of experience in developing production software in an agile environment
  • At least 1 year of experience with cloud development technologies
  • At least 1 year of experience in front end web development technologies (CSS, HTML, JavaScript)
  • At least 1 year of project experience with automated unit testing
  • At least 1 year of experience with Kubernetes or other container technology
