Java Developer

Piper Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Java Developer to work as part of an energy management solutions company in the Raleigh / Durham area. The Java Developer will be a part of a team that is developing an analytics suite that will be integrating into metering infrastructure, distribution grid management and cloud-based solutions for utility customers. The ideal Java Developer will be a strong core Java Developer with experience in the design and implementation of server-side code components. The Java Developer should also have strong OOAD skills and be familiar with NoSQL technologies.

Requirements for the Java Developer include the following:                                                                          
• 3+ years of as a core Java Developer
• Strong OOAD skills and experience implementing server-side code components
• Relational database knowledge or NoSQL database experience (MongoDB a huge plus)
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

Compensation for the Java Developer: $70,000 – $90,000 depending on experience and salary history.
Location of the Java Developer: Raleigh, NC
