  • Overview

    Corporate HR Representative partners with Corporate Human Resources Director throughout the employee lifecycle in support of the organization’s mission, values, and business objectives. This position will serve as the primary HR support mainly to our offices in Cary and Durham, NC and the corporate HR function.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and coordinate on boarding, and new hire orientation and initial training
    • Manage off-boarding, including facilitating return of company assets and property, IT changes, explaining payroll/benefit implications, and conducting exit interviews;
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition to help manage and coordinate our recruiting efforts,
    • Prepare and submit HCM system changes in status for processing
    • Partner with HRD to prepare various reports, analyses, and presentations as needed
    • Act as a resource to both managers and employees by offering support and guidance regarding company policies, procedures and best practices
    • Assist managers with policy interpretation, documentation requirements, investigation processes, and general HR information and communications
    • Provide project management and administrative support, coordination and planning efforts for on-site activities

    Qualifications

    • College degree required
    • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a human resources role;
    • Strong demonstrated knowledge of MS Office
    • Working knowledge of HR concepts and employment laws, regulations
    • Ability to overcome challenges to find solutions
    • Must be flexible, detail-oriented with ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines
    • Must be able to handle complex and sensitive matters while maintaining the strictest level of confidentiality
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage ambiguity and push through business challenges with a focus on continuous improvement
