Position Information

The Clinical Nutrition Technician supports the Clinical Dietitians to improve nutrition outcomes through provision of individualized nutrition care. Extensive knowledge is essential in nutritional concepts, diet therapy, and food service organization. The Clinical Nutrition Technician has daily phone contact with patients for food selection in accordance with the physician diet prescription. This position serves as a liaison between nursing and Food and Nutrition Services staff, as well as alerting the dietitian regarding any patient concerns. This position is cross-trained to with departmental administrative activities.

Experience Requirements

3 Years Food Preparation - Institutional Or Customer Service Preferred

Education Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Licensure/Certification Requirements

Certified Dietary Manager Preferred

Hours of Work

4:30 am - 7:30 pm

Weekend Requirements

Every Other

Call Requirements

As needed
