Position Information

The Food Services Assistant contributes to department operations by preparing salads and desserts, assisting cooks in food preparation, operating cash registers, setting up or organizing employee feeding lines and serving hospital staff and visitors. This position orders food and supplies on a daily basis and contributes to the sanitary atmosphere of the department by cleaning work areas, emptying trash, sanitizing pots & pans, routinely cleaning heavy equipment, and operating floor cleaning machines.
